I'm Shelby, a freelance Catholic writer on the Nebraska prairie. As a wife, mother, and homemaker, I spend my days chasing four rambunctious children, cooking homemade meals, and tending to a weedy garden.

I believe that as modern women we can find beauty, contentment, purpose, and fulfillment as holy homemakers. I’m passionate about keeping life slow, simple, and sweet, especially in our home because homemaking isn’t just about clean floors and toilets, it’s about nurturing others and ourselves.  I want to build a family culture and home life that promotes love, peace, togetherness, and generosity on our way toward our true home.
